Mark your calendar to join us for brunch and a special worship service at the Lake Worth Beach Club. This is our "thank you" to one another for the commitments we are making in 2025 to participate in our corner of God's Kin-dom here at Lake Worth United Church of Christ. Brunch will be served beginning at 11:00 AM, with a short worship service beginning at 11:30. There is no cost for the brunch, but we do ask you to register here so we have an accurate count.

Last Sunday, we began our new worship series, Imagine & Enage. We will spend these weeks reminding ourselves of who we are and what we do together as Lake Worth United Church of Christ. Each of us will be invited to imagine who we might be and, following Jesus, what we might accomplish together with God in our world. This Sunday we focused on a LWUCC distinctive, our practice of justice. We heard from Paige Shortsleeves, lead oragnizer of PEACE, sang some great music, and heard a mesage on the original Nehemiah Action in the book of Nehemiah. You can watch the service here.

Tonight at 5:00 PM there will be a march from Lake Worth Beach City Hall, preceded by a sing along at 4:30.

Justice Matters!

On Tuesday January 28th we will be meeting with Sheriff Bradshaw to hear a report on data collection on traffic stops. Pastor Jason and Jill Hanson will be our spokespeople and we want a big crowd to demostrate our people power. We will gather at 9:30 for prep and the sheriff will join us at 10:30.
