We will be having two services on Christmas Eve Sunday. At 10:30, we will have intergenerational breakfast church, an opportunity to be together with the whole family. We'll have breakfast, hear the Christmas story, and make a craft. It is a great opportunity to invite a friend or family member and introduce them to Lake Worth UCC. Please register for that service here so we can have an idea of how many to prepare for. At 7:00 PM, we will have our traditional candlelight service with beautiful music, followed by cookies and cocoa. We would love for you to join us at either or both!                                

Lake Worth UCC Christmas Offering

It has been our tradition for the past several years to collect an offering as a gift for our community. This year the two beneficiaries are Dollars for Scholars for Lake Worth Community Highschool. We shared information about them in the last newsletter. We will also be collecting for The UCC Christmas Fund for the Veterans of the Cross. 

The Christmas Fund for the Veterans of the Cross is an annual UCC offering that expresses our thanks to retired and active UCC pastors and lay church workers and their families facing financial need, providing direct assistance to supplement pensions, help with the cost of medical insurance, a thank you gift at Christmas, and funds to meet emergency needs.

On Sunday 12/10, Rev. Nelson Stone shared with us "Mary?" centered around her song of worship and justice we call The Magnificat. And Jessica Sanford shared an amazing rendition of "Everything Changes" from the musical Waitress. You can watch the service here.
