Thank you to those who attended the Board of County Commission meeting today! The housing plan vote was postponed by the Commissioners after a lengthy conversation. They'll be bringing it back up at a later date. We are working on
getting a meeting with County Administrator Baker to explain why this plan needs to include money for affordable housing for those making below 60% of the area median income.
In other news, we have a meeting scheduled with Michael Gauger, who is running for Sheriff. He was formerly second in command of PBSO and has attended PEACE events in the past. We are meeting with Mr. Gauger on Friday, October 6th at 9:30am. We will end by
11:30am.
