Thank you everyone for your participation in our priorities survey. We had around 30 surveys returned. This Saturday, April 22nd at 9:30 will be our third and final large group meeting. In this session, we will be
learning about some of the demograpihics of our community. There will be an in-person group at the church office along with the Zoom meeting. If you would like to participate but haven't received an email with the link, you can email Pastor Jason. April 16th, we begin a brand new worship series. The butterfly has long been a
symbol of the resurrection of Jesus, as well as our own resurrection as we emerge from the power of fear and death. In this series, we will consider the process of metamorphosis as a guide to examine our own transformations from cocoons and tombs to the unfurled beauty of all God calls us to be. Join us Sundays at 10:30 AM in person at 1415 North K ST in Lake Worth Beach, FL or online at fcclw.org. This Sunday we began in the dark, talking about "Tombs and Cocoons." We apologize for the lack of audio in the broadcast. However, Pastor Jason shared the message again Sunday afternoon.
You can see it here. This coming Sunday, we are delighted to have Rev. Nelson Stone share with us "Coming Out: Leaving Comfortable Places." Remembering Angela Came Angie Came passed away on Monday after an extended illness. We will remember her life at a memorial service Sunday April 23rd at 12:00. Rainn Wilson (Dwight on TV's The Office) sat down for an interview with Rich Roll on his podcast to talk about his new book Soul Boom. This is a great conversation from two Gen-Xers about how we might
practice faith and spirituality in new ways. You can listen here. |
