Holy Week reminds us that although love is sometimes painful, love always wins.
Join us this Sunday at 10:30 in person or at fcclw.org as we celebrate the Resurrection together. If you would like to cath up on the "Lookin' for Love" series, you can find the previous sermons here. We are grateful to those that have participated so far in our strategic planning process. Now we need EVERYONE'S help! We have created a ballot with five ministry with five ministry areas for our future: justice
ministries, mercy ministries, education, spiritual formation, and congregational fellowship and care. Under each of those five ministry areas there is a list of activities. We want our members and friends to vote on three priorites under each of those five ministry areas. You can find the ballot here. We will have hard
copies at the church for the next two Sundays. All ballots must be returned by Sunday, April 16th. |
Join us for lunch Sunday April 16th after worship. Bring (or buy!) what you're best
at. April 16th, we begin a brand new worship series. The butterfly has long been a
symbol of the resurrection of Jesus, as well as our own resurrection as we emerge from the power of fear and death. In this series, we will consider the process of metamorphosis as a guide to examine our own transformations from cocoons and tombs to the unfurled beauty of all God calls us to be. Practicing Faith, Mercy, and Justice in Community? Our new church app has been released in the Apple App and Google Play stores just for our church. You can stream our worship services, keep in touch with friends, keep up with events,
and financially support First Congregational Church all in one place. If you are an iphone user, you can download the app in the App Store, if you have an Android phone, you can download from Google Play. Along with this platform change, our online giving platform will be changing. If you have a regular giving plan set up with us, you should have received an email with instructions on how to switch that over to our new platform. You can find those instructions here. |
