The Good Samaritan
In our Sunday worship, we are receiving Jesus’ encouragement to act in our faith. This Sunday we heard the story of the Good Samaritan. What did Jesus tell the lawyer to “do this and live?” You can watch the sermon here.

Green Committee
A planning committee meeting will be held on Sunday, August 4th after the worship service. Please join us if you are interested in working on ways our congregation can contribute to the care of the earth and confront the current climate crisis.
We hope to develop strategic goals to work most effectively in our congregation and community. We will meet in the parlor or board room.

Help People Find Us
People are looking for a church that accepts them as they are and helps them make a difference in the world and they need to know we are here! One way people search for a church is online and, believe it or not, they look at the “customer reviews.” For a church?! Yes!
Some of you have posted a review for our church on Facebook. Thank you! If you haven’t yet, you can do it right on our Facebook page, facebook.com/fcclw.
If you have already reviewed us on Facebook, consider leaving a review on Google (just look up First Congregational Church of Lake Worth), and on Yelp!, https://www.yelp.com/biz/first-congregational-church-of-lake-worth-lake-worth (it’s not just for restaurants any more!)
On all these sites, just hit the maximum number of stars, and leave a quick post about what makes your church special to you!

Facebook
First, go to our page and "Like" us. However, just liking us does not mean that you will see everything we post. Each of our Facebook posts only goes to about 2% of
the people who like our page. To make sure you see everything, after you like us, go to the pull-down menu on the "Like" button and click "Get Notifications." This way everything that we post will show up on your own Facebook wall. If you are on Facebook, you can keep up with what is happening "between Sundays" on our Facebook
page. | Facebook Live
As much as we love gathering together on Sunday mornings, there are times when we are out of town or otherwise unable to be there in person.
You can now watch our worship service live on Facebook right on your computer, tablet, or smart phone. At 10:30 on Sunday just head over to our Facebook page and join us!

Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You
can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!
