If you are available tomorrow morning to work for justice on behalf of our neighbors experiencing homelessness, please see below. Unfortunately, I will not be able to be there because of work commitments, but we would love to see a First Congregational Church representation!
This weekend we learned the following -
The Plan for the use of the $25 million in sales tax revenues to go toward the creation of housing for homeless and extremely low income individuals - has been drafted.
This Plan will be presented at the Workshop of the Board of County Commissioners, tomorrow.
PEACE needs to be there in numbers, to
1) express our response to the Plan, and
2) our firm desire that ALL of the Commissioners be present at this year's Nehemiah Action.
We are sorry that we are just giving notice about this meeting now - as mentioned, we just received notice this past weekend. We will meet to prepare beforehand at 8:30 am at St. Ann Catholic Church (310 N. Olive Avenue in West Palm Beach - directly across the street from the County building). We will then walk together over to the Commission meeting, for its start time of 9:30 am.

Please spread the word - and let's get out as many people as possible tomorrow.
