Family Epiphany Party

You and your children are invited to an Epiphany celebration and impromptu pageant on Friday evening, January 5th beginning at 6:30. We’ll have dinner together and celebrate the arrival of the three wise ones to visit the baby Jesus. There will be crafts, activities, king cake and a fun time together!

Way of Life Small Group
Beginning Wednesday, January 10th at 6:30, Pastor Jason will be facilitating a four week group. While the group is based on Brian McLaren’s book The Great spiritual Migration, reading the book is not a prerequisite. The participant’s guide for the group is $10. For more information, see our website.

As much as we love gathering together on Sunday mornings, there are times when we are out of town or otherwise unable to be there in person. You can now watch our worship service live on Facebook right on your computer, tablet, or smart phone. At 10:30 on Sunday just head over to our Facebook page and join us!

Facebook

First, go to our page and "Like" us. However, just liking us does not mean that you will see everything we post. Each of our Facebook posts only goes to about 2% of the people who like our page. To make sure you see everything, after you like us, go to the pull-down menu on the "Like" button and click "Get Notifications." This way everything that we post will show up on your own Facebook wall.  If you are on Facebook, you can keep up with what is happening "between Sundays" on our Facebook page.

Thank You!
Because of your generosity, our weekly Community Dinner received a $5000 Christmas gift this year. Thank you for your support of this ministry that feeds those hungry for food and for fellowship!

Coffee Hour: Dec. 31
The coffee hour this Sunday will be hosted by the Missions Committee and will benefit the food pantry here at First Congregational.  The food pantry has been struggling to remain stocked.  We have had an increase in the number of people depending on the food we provide.  We serve six to ten people each week.  Your contribution at the coffee hour will buy food to help keep it stocked.

Mediation Group Information
Our meditation groups took a break for the holidays.  Our Monday morning group will resume on January 8th and the Thursday night group will resume on January 4th.

Online Giving
Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!
