Nehemiah Action

On Monday, April 3rd at 7:00 PM we will gather with 3,000 people of faith from 22 other churches all over Palm Beach County to hold our public officials responsible for the problem of homelessness in our county.

Our goal this year is to turn out 90 people (our average worship attendance). You should be invited by one of our Justice Ministry Network Members. If you need a ride, we will be car pooling from the church.

We are looking forward to doing justice together!

Pride Dinner on the Grounds

On Sunday, April 2nd, we will invite the new friends we meet at Pride Fest to join us for morning worship and lunch. Plan on joining us and inviting a friend.

PLARN Party
All those interested in being part of the PLARN (plastic yarn) project, either by cutting bags, stringing the yarn,or weaving mats, come to the working brunch in the parlor after church on April 9th. Lunch will be served (compliments of Vickie Grimes) . Please RSVP to her or to Janet Lisle.

Heart of the Matter

Join us Sunday, April 16th as together we celebrate Easter and begin a new series, The Heart of the Matter.  There will be an Easter egg hunt for the kids after the worship service.

The life and death of Jesus had one strong message that was both overt and inherent: love one another. The heart of the matter was love. Ziggy Marley sings, “Love is my religion…with you I share the gift, the gift we now know.” Time and again we hear Jesus offer the disciples a post-resurrection message of empowerment to give to the world what he had given to them. This Easter we will encourage one another to truly live out the heart of the matter.

 Online Giving

Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!
