Annual Meeting
This Sunday after worship we will hold our annual congregational meeting for the purpose of voting on our budget and officers for 2018. Everyone is invited to attend this meeting which should not last longer than 30 minutes. Members, please plan on attending and voting on these items. Thank you.

Interfaith Thanksgiving Service
United in the spirit of the holiday, join area representatives from 14 local faith communities including Christian, Jewish, Bahá’í, Muslim and Buddhist traditions for an uplifting hour of music and shared inspiration, followed by a 30 minute service project packing beans and rice in collaboration with CROS Ministires. The service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10:00 - 11:30 AM.

Stewardship Sunday

We each have the opportunity to be a part of the ministry that is First Congregational United Church of Christ. One of the ways that we participate is through financial support. This is the time of year where we consider what our commitment will be for 2018. Please return your faith promise card on our before Sunday, November 19th.

Family Advent Evening

Join us on Friday evening, December 1st as we begin the Advent season together. We will start with pizza at 6:00 PM and then engage in activities of the season such as advent wreath making, and engaging how we will make room in our lives for the coming of Christ. While the activities for the evening will be geared toward children, everyone is invited to join us.

Keeping Faith: Sisters of Story

On Sunday December 3rd, First Congregational United Church of Christ, along with The Lake Worth Interfaith Network, will present Keeping Faith: Sisters of Story. For more information, see our website.

Beer and Hymns: Carol Edition

We are going to sing, drink, and eat all over again! Join us for our second annual Beer and Hymns Christmas Carol Edition.

We will once again gather at Aioli’s at 7434 S. Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach. Our wonderful hosts will again have beer, wine, soft drinks, and wonderful pub food creations for us to enjoy. The only difference is that this time, all of the proceeds from our purchases will benefit five families in need from North Grade Elementary. Richmond and Allen will lead us in all your favorite songs of the season.

We are looking forward to a great night together. As you heard from last time, you will not want to miss this.

Facebook Link

As much as we love gathering together on Sunday mornings, there are times when we are out of town or otherwise unable to be there in person. You can now watch our worship service live on Facebook right on your computer, tablet, or smart phone. At 10:30 on Sunday just head over to our Facebook page and join us!

Fairbanks on Vacation
Pastor Jason and his family will be on vacation this week from Tuesday until next Monday. Rev. Dr. John Button will be preaching next Sunday.

Angel Tree
Our church will support the Salvation Army Angel Tree project again this year. Choose your "angel" to shop for at the table in Studebaker Hall after the service.

Online Giving
Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!
