New Teaching Series

Join us this Sunday as we begin a brand new series based on the classic movie, The Wizard of Oz. This week we begin by engaging that feeling we have that there is something more than just our daily lives, a world of wind, color, and Spirit. Is there really something "Over the Rainbow," or is it just our imagination?

Peanut Butter Love

200 jars of peanut butter is our goal for families in need in Palm Beach County. After our second week, we are at 53 jars - thank you! We are 25% there! Find out more here. And we have received information that Peter Pan Peanut Butter is Buy One, Get One this week at Publix!

Holiday Cooking Class

Do you love the holidays but hate cooking?

Starting in October thru December there will be a cooking class that will teach basic cooking skills, unique quick, easy and fun ideas for the holidays with quick holiday gifts and treats too. The cost will be $10 per class and will  run for 8 weeks starting on October 9th. The class will be taught by our own Christopher Lepard, a graduate of the American Culinary Institute and chef for over 32 years. You can sign up for one or all 8. See the website for a list of classes.

God at Work

In observance of Labor Day, we explored the topic of God at Work on Sunday. We looked at God's plan for us: enough, the two problems that often keep us all from experiencing that enough: idleness and greed, and the five practices that might help us realign with God's plan. You can listen to Pastor Jason's sermon here.

Online Giving

Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!
