From Pastor Jason

It has been a difficult week. Nearly every day there has been more news of violence, pain, and tragedy. Our hearts go out to the people of Boston and West, Texas.

We, of course, wonder why and where God is in all of this. We have the wonderful opportunity to gather together this Sunday for worship, formation, and fellowship. We won't have all the answers, but we will come together and praise and pray in the face of evil and heartache. I can't imagine anything more powerful, and I can't imagine another group of people I would rather be with.

I look forward to worshipping God together with you on Sunday and engaging the next part of our Influence series, "Activating My Gifts."

Peace,

Envisioning My Future

This Sunday we continued our teaching series on Influence by engaging the opportunity we have to envision God's preferred future for us and our world. If you missed it you can watch the sermon here.

Envisioning My Future

John and Meredith Button's granddaughter, a phenomenal 13-year-old golfer, has been featured in an article in New Hampshire magazine. You can read the article here.

Save the Dates

Monday, May 2nd is the National Day of Prayer. The sanctuary will be open from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, hosted by the Garcilaso De La Vega Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, for you to come by and pray. That evening (time to be announced) we will be hosting the Lake Worth Interfaith Network for a service of prayer and song.

Online Giving

Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!
