Continuing Series: Influence

We are two weeks in to our series on Influence. So far, we have explored "The Power of Influence" and "Leading Myself." This week, we will talk about "Envisioning My Future," how we can envision a better future and set specific goals in several areas of our life. There will be something for everyone, but this Sunday's teaching will be especially valuable for the young adults in your life. Of course, there will also be great music and the most warm and welcoming church folks in Palm Beach County!

One of the greatest needs in our world today is positive leadership and influence. I am loving learning with you about how we can provide it. See you on Sunday!

How do burgers, games, door prizes, and karaoke sound?

Join us for our annual picnic after worship on Sunday, April 21st after the worship service. Check the website for more information and to sign up!

Economic Justice Task Force

The first meeting of the Economic Justice Task Force will be Sunday, April 14 at 11:45 am in the church parlor. This group will be a steering committee to set up programs regarding economic justice and to provide direction regarding the discernment process to become an economic justice church. Anyone interested in serving on this task force or simply learning more about these issues is welcome to
participate.

Givers and Takers

I brushed off my keyboard and shared some thoughts on Adam Grant and the book "Givers and Takers" which, based on significant research, suggests... well...as Jesus would say, "Whoever wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all." (Mark 9:35).

Online Giving

Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!
