We are in the process of collecting school supplies for North Grade and South Grade elementary schools. Both of these schools serve a population of children and families, many of whom have very little income. Please consider picking up a few of the items listed here the next time you are at your favorite grocery or discount store. This is an easy, practical, important way for us to share God's love and live the gospel in our very own community. You can drop off supplies in the lobby on Sunday mornings.

Brought Together

This week we began a multi-week worship series drawing from the letter to the Ephesians.

The author of the letter kicks it off with an exuberant 10 verse run-on sentence, praising God for our freedom, our redemption, and the fact that, in Christ, we have been chosen as children of God.
Of course, if we are all children of God that makes us all family. We have the opportunity to start practicing now! If you missed Sunday's sermon you can find it here.

However, there is nothing like being in worship together. Join us next Sunday as we engage Ephesians 2 and a "Vision of Unity."

The book of Ephesians is a letter written to encourage a group of believers. The letters to the early church were written and sent to encourage and guide its members deepen their faith and spiritual practice. Handwritten letters are very intentional means of communicating in today's digital age when e-mail and text messages are faster, generally shorter, and more convenient. Letters take time and thought to prepare. This week, consider writing a letter to someone in your life that could use some encouragement.

You can find this Sunday's bulletin here.

Online Giving

Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!

 Got Questions?

Join us this Thursday night in the church parlor for "The Wandering Christian Conversation."   We gather to share a potluck meal at 6:30 PM and the official conversation begins at 7:30 PM.
