Sunday...
This Sunday, Rev. Dr. Sheila Guillaume, the Southeast Regional Youth Director for the Florida Conference of the UCC will be in the pulpit while I am out of town. This is a great opportunity to hear a dynamic communicator!
 
 
And a First for Us...
 
The following week, Toledo, Ohio-based up-and-coming Christian rock band Southbound Fearing will be here at First Congregational in concert next Sunday at 6:00 PM. A last-minute schedule change is bringing a high-quality music experience to our church. Here is what we can all do to make it a success:

1. Get the word out! The primary audience for this band is teenagers and young adults. This is a great way to expose those you know in this age group to a
powerful, positive message in a way they will understand and actually like!

2. Donate! Southbound Fearing is not charging us for this event; they are trusting God to provide! We would like to at least cover their expenses, which come to around $200. If you are willing to contribute toward this great opportunity, just put "Concert" in the memo line of your check.
