Supplies for Faustina

In May, our own Faustina Appiah is returning home to Ghana. We want her to return home in style, so we are collecting items that she can use for housekeeping AND which she can use to stock a small shop she will be running to support herself. Through April 12th we will be collecting:

Personal hygiene products (mouthwash, toothpaste, tooth brush, hand sanitizers)
Cleaning Detergents
Soap
Tea/Coffee/Ovaltine
Sugar
Tomato Paste
Canned meats - Sardine/Mackerel/Corned Beef/Tuna
Soft Drinks – Caprisuns, Juice Boxes. Etc.
Stationery (envelopes, pens, pencils, erasers, totes, glue, rulers
Hair Products)
Lotions
Paper Products (toilet roll, paper napkins, Kleenex)
Children's Clothing

PrideFest of the Palm Beaches

We will once again have a table at PrideFest of the Palm Beaches, reminding the LGBT community in Palm Beach County that we stand with them and that God loves them unconditionally. If you would like to take a shift at our table, see Barry Nicholson.

Maundy Thursday

Join us Thursday evening, April 2nd at 7:00 PM for a service of scripture, song, silence, and communion as we gather together to commemorate the last meal shared by Jesus and his disciples.

Picnic and Talent Show

Our annual picnic on the grounds and our FIRST annual congregational talent show will be Sunday, April 19th! Do you sing, juggle, dance, play an instrument? We would love to have you share your talent with us.

Coffee & Conversation

You are invited to join a new group beginning Friday, January 30th and meeting each Friday from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall for coffee, conversation, and fellowship. See Janet Lisle for additional information.

Facebook

If you are on Facebook, you can keep up with what is happening "between Sundays" on our Facebook page. First, go to our page and "Like" us. However, just liking us does not mean that you will see everything we post. Each of our Facebook posts only goes to about 2% of the people who like our page. To make sure you see everything, after you like us, go to the pull-down menu on the "Like" button and click "Get Notifications." This way everything that we post will show up on your own Facebook wall.

Easter Egg Hunt

After the worship service on Easter Sunday, we will have an Easter egg hunt for the children. This is a great opportunity to invite family, friends, and neighbors who have children to come experience First Congregational Church of Lake Worth!

2015 Scholarship Applications

We are now accepting applications for the 2015 College scholarship. The scholarship is for members of First Congregational Church of Lake Worth who are beginning or continuing college or vocational education. You can find the guidelines and application here or pick up a copy at the church campus.

Online Giving

Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!
