Family Beach Night Tomorrow

Tomorrow night, July 25th at 6:00 PM, we will meet at Lake Worth Beach to spend a summer evening together. Pack a chair or blanket and your dinner (or buy a slice of pizza at the beach) and join us. We will be on the beach across from the Lake Worth Casino. We will keep an eye out for you. This is also a great opportunity to bring friends to meet the great folks of First Congregational United Church of Christ!

Healing Prayer Service

You are invited to join us next Tuesday, July 29th, as we gather in the sanctuary at 6:45 PM for a service of scripture, song, prayer, and anointing. This is a wonderful opportunity to come before God and lift one another up in prayer.

This Sunday

This week, we joined Jacob in recognizing the presence of God in our midst and exploring how we can create space for the Divine in our busy lives. You can watch the sermon on our website. What are some times and places you have experienced God's presence in your life in a special way? Let us know in the comments.

Next Sunday

Next week, we place ourselves in Jesus' parable of the treasure. For what are we willing to risk everything? Would we know a great treasure if we saw it?

We're On Facebook!

If you are on Facebook, head over to our Facebook page and "Like" us to keep up with what is going on at First Congregational United Church of Christ "between Sundays."

Book Study Group

Consider joining us beginning in August for a six-week discussion of "Practicing the Presence of God for Practical Purposes." See our website for more information.

Open to Grace Yoga

Did you know we have a yoga class here at the church? Each Thursday, instructor Sally Grillo leads a group. You can learn more on our website.

The Daily

The daily is back from summer hiatus! Check in each day for thoughts on the daily lectionary readings, links to inspirational devotionals and opportunities to pray for one another.

Online Giving

Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!
