This Week at FCCLW 7/20/14

This Sunday..
This Sunday we used the story of Esau and Jacob to explore the tense situations
with people and circumstances in our own lives and how we might seek the
presence of God in those situations.
Thank you Candy!
Candy Von Sparkle presented the Community Dinner with a check for $1415,
the proceeds from her fundraising event in June. The proceeds came from sales of
"Our Hearts Desire" jewelry as well as other vendors along with a fabulous
dinner provided by Ristorante Antonio South. Special thanks to Candy and
everyone who helped for a great evening and a amazingly generous donation.

Next Sunday
Join us in worship as we explore the presence of God in our lives as we remind ourselves that we are "Searched, Known, and Named." If you haven't yet done so, make sure you take a picture or two of where you see the presence of God in your life and upload it to our Facebook page or email to Pastor Jason.

Open to Grace Yoga
Did you know we have a yoga class here at the church? Each Thursday,
instructor Sally Grillo leads a group. You can learn more on our website.
The Daily
The daily is back from summer hiatus! Check in each day for thoughts on the
daily lectionary readings, links to inspirational devotionals and opportunities
to pray for one another.
Online Giving
Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!
