This Sunday..
![]() Stones can be used to destroy or to build, it is our choice. Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary on Sunday, May 18th as we gather to worship using the common stone as our focal point. We will fellowship, sing, pray, and engage sacred text as we worship Christ, our cornerstone. And after worship... |
...we'll feast on hotdogs, hamburgers, and all the fixins' at our annual (indoor!) picnic. Hope to see you there!
![]() "The Daily" Are you taking advantage of this new way to start (or end) your day? Each day on our website, you can find the daily scripture readings and links to inspirational devotionals. You can find it here.
![]() Our Sunday Best
Together, we are creating a time and place of welcome ![]() We want to make sure that every guest and member that joins us on Sunday mornings knows that they are welcomed. Would you be willing to be a greeter or usher on Sunday mornings, either every week or once or twice a month? Would you be willing to read scripture during the service? Contact Cathy Austen if you are willing to participate in this ministry.

Is the Church Dying?
There has been a lot of talk lately about "the dying church." What are your thoughts? Pastor Jason has provided links to articles on his blog. Take a look and join the conversation here. Online Giving
Have you explored the opportunity of electronic giving? You can choose to have a set amount taken from your bank account on a regular basis or you can make a one (or more) time gift by checking account or credit card on our website. Your regular electronic giving means that your gift is available for ministry even when you are away (or forgot your checkbook!). Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of First Congregational Church!
