Loving God, Loving Others, Serving the World                                                                April 3, 2009

Our worship series is over, but the Outflow is just beginning!

TOMORROW, Saturday, April 4th,is our first Outflow day. There are three projects from which to choose:

Yard Clean-up
Meet: At the church at 9:00 AM
Details: We will be assisting a woman in our neighborhood who needs some help with her yard but is physically unable to do it.

Rice and Bean Bagging
Meet: At the church at 9:00 AM
Details:  We will be bagging 200 lbs. of rice and beans to help provide for the memebers of a small Haitian congregation in our community, "Good Samaritan Fellowship."

Intracoastal Waterway Clean-up
Meet: At the Lake Worth Golf Club at 8:00 AM
Details: This is part of the already-scheduled Lake Worth intracoastal clean-up right in our backyard. If you want to get up this early, meet at the parking lot of the Lake Worth Golf Club. Shuttles will take you to clean-up sites. You must be 18 years old or accompanied by a parent or guardian. Wear old clothes. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided.

Community Easter Egg Hunt & Cookout
Next Saturday, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we will invite our community to a free Easter egg hunt and cookout. Here is how you can help:

Bring candy with you to church this Sunday. We are still low on candy. Ideally, the candy should be non-chocolate (it melts) and individually wrapped.

Help us canvas. We are hoping to pass out 2,000 door-hangers this week. You can sign up for streets on the map in the lobby this Sunday.

Be here next Saturday! We need your help with serving, crowd-control, and most importantly, building relationships. We want to let our guests know what a great group of people there are at First Congregational Church!
